Much of the work on this website is the fruit born out of a long collaboration with John Frane while we were Predock_Frane Architects Between 2000-2015. Our work together was expansive – not just within the range of scales and types in architecture proper, but also in how we defined the boundaries of architecture (buildings, objects, installations, writing, exhibition, teaching, etc) My new venture – Hadrian Predock Architecture – is a natural extension of the work we collaborated on together + the years of work exploring how other disciplines like weather and art can have profound impacts on the discipline of architecture. I view my role expanding further and deeper into areas that have already developed – like teaching, writing and curating – so that those areas can inform and bring a deeper understanding to the core of my practice. My current role as Director of Undergraduate Programs at the USC School of Architecture allows me to have direct access to an extensive set of collaborators and scholars. This keeps me current, and engaged and constantly challenges how I think about projects in my studio – it’s a very fortunate and lucky position to be in.
